Regions Leadership

World Urban Parks categorizes membership into four distinct regions. These regions include, Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Emerging Cities. These regions are set to build partnerships and a collaborative environment for similar park institutions. Once a member of World Urban Parks, either as an organization or individual member, you are put into your corresponding region. These regions are established as committees with congresses, events, and projects for the region. Africa
World Urban Parks Africa Region will work around themes like urban sprawl, immigration, informal developments, inequality, among many other conditions, and specifically, underdeveloped green space and green space management, as well as challenges in population growth, infrastructure, and access. In general, the area would cover Africa.



Latin America
World Urban Parks Latin America Region is one of the regions intended to enhance member activity with related conferences, seminars, technical tours, working parties, and regional congresses and networking. The Latin America region includes Central America and South America.
North America
World Urban Parks North American Region is one of the regions intended to enhance member activity with related conferences, seminars, technical tours, working parties, and face to face meetings and networking. The North American Region includes the United States and Canada.
Asia Pacific
World Urban Parks Asia-Pacific Region is one of the regions intended to enhance member activity with related conferences, seminars, technical tours, working parties, and face to face meetings and networking. The Asia-Pacific Region includes Asia, S-E Asia, Australia, and the islands of the Pacific Ocean.
Europe
World Urban Parks Europe Region is one of the regions intended to enhance member activity with related conferences, seminars, technical tours, working parties, and face to face meetings and networking. The committee will provide opportunities to network, gain international perspectives, support professional development, share best practice and explore innovative urban park solutions. The Europe Region includes the whole Mainland Europe, Iceland, Scandinavia, and the United Kingdom.
