Parks Corps Program Task is getting underway
The task forces has 21 professionals representing 15 countries from around the globe.
The purpose of the task force is to help emerging cities and countries around the world incorporate parks, green spaces and recreation into city building by bringing professionals from around the world to help solve problems, offer solutions, provide expertise while working with local officials and community members integrating parks, green spaces, and recreation services in cities and countries around the world that want and need it most.
The task force will work with WUP to shape the program to help get it off the ground and help develop funding sources to launch the program.
